Instructions
  1. Finely chop the shrimp or pulse it in a food processor until coarsely ground.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the processed shrimp with breadcrumbs, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until uniform and slightly sticky.
  3. Shape the mixture into balls approximately the size of a golf ball, creating about 12-16 shrimp balls.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet to shimmering. Test with a breadcrumb; it should bubble immediately.
  5. Fry the shrimp balls in batches for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy.
  6. Transfer the fried shrimp balls to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil and serve immediately.
