Step-by-Step Instructions for Bang Bang Tofu
  1. Press the extra-firm tofu to remove moisture for 15-20 minutes. Cut into bite-sized pieces.

  2. Combine soy sauce, olive oil, cornstarch, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Toss the tofu pieces in the mixture and let it sit for 5 minutes.

  3. For air frying: Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Arrange the tofu in a single layer and air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through.

  4. For pan frying: Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add tofu and fry for 8-12 minutes until golden and crispy on all sides.
