Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
  2. Drain the firm tofu and press it between paper towels for about 10 minutes to remove excess moisture.
  3. Cut the tofu into bite-sized cubes for even baking.
  4. Combine soy sauce, garlic powder, and olive oil in a mixing bowl. Toss the tofu cubes until coated and let marinate for 5 minutes.
  5. Toss the marinated tofu in cornstarch until evenly coated and spread them on the baking tray in a single layer.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden-brown and crispy.
  7. Let the tofu cool slightly, then serve it over cooked rice or quinoa with fresh veggies and preferred dipping sauce.
