- Remove leaves and stem from the cauliflower and slice into ½-inch-thick steaks.
- In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes if desired. Whisk until well blended.
- Brush both sides of each cauliflower steak with the seasoning mixture.
- Arrange the steaks on the baking sheet without overcrowding and bake for about 25 minutes until golden brown.
- For extra crispiness, broil the steaks for the last 2-3 minutes while watching closely.
- Remove from the oven, let rest for a couple of minutes, and garnish with parsley or chives before serving.
