Step-by-Step Instructions for Air Fryer Pizza Rolls
- Start by taking your pizza dough out of the package. Let it rest at room temperature for about 20 minutes to make it easier to roll. Roll it out on a lightly floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
- Slice the rolled-out dough into 3x3 inch squares. In the center of each square, place about one tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese, followed by a few slices of pepperoni. Sprinkle a pinch of Italian seasoning and a dash of salt over the fillings.
- Fold each dough square over the filling to create a triangle or rectangle shape. Press the edges firmly to seal. Use a fork to crimp the edges.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil. Arrange the filled pizza rolls in a single layer. Cook them for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even browning.
- Once cooked, carefully remove the pizza rolls from the air fryer and let them cool slightly on a wire rack.
