Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons of freshly grated garlic, 2 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice, ½ teaspoon of salt, ½ teaspoon of sugar, and ¼ teaspoon of ground black pepper. Using a whisk, ensure all the ingredients are evenly mixed.
  2. Continue whisking the mixture for about 1-2 minutes until it becomes smooth and cohesive.
  3. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and place it in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Once chilled, give the garlic aioli a quick stir before transferring it to a serving bowl.
