  • 2 cups Frozen Mixed Vegetables Substitute with fresh if desired
  • 2 tablespoons Butter Can substitute with olive oil
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose Flour Gluten-free flour can be used
  • 1 cup Seafood Stock Can replace with chicken stock
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream Milk or non-dairy alternative can be used
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic can also be used
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder Fresh onions can be sautéed early
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme Alternatives include parsley or dill
  • Salt and Pepper Adjust according to taste
For the Biscuit Topping
  • 2 cups Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix Use a similar biscuit mix if unavailable
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Optional but recommended
  • 3/4 cup Milk Non-dairy milk can be used

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a skillet, melt the butter and cook shrimp until pink.
  3. Stir in crab meat and mixed vegetables, heating through.
  4. Sprinkle flour, then add seafood stock and heavy cream, stirring to avoid lumps.
  5. Add garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, salt and pepper.
  6. Pour the mixture into a baking dish.
  7. In a bowl, combine biscuit mix, shredded cheese, and milk.
  8. Dollop biscuit dough over the seafood filling.
  9. Bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Let cool for 15 minutes before serving.
  11. Serve with a light salad or steamed veggies.
