Ingredients

Pinwheel Filling
  • 1 sheet Puff Pastry thawed, store-bought
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese softened
  • 1 cup Cranberries dried or fresh
  • 4 oz Feta Cheese crumbled
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Herbs Parsley, Thyme, or Rosemary
  • 1 egg Egg for wash
Baking Essentials
  • 1 sheet Parchment Paper

Equipment

  • Baking sheet
  • Rolling Pin
  • Mixing Bowl
  • Sharp Knife

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by unrolling the thawed puff pastry on a clean, floured surface. Gently roll it out with a rolling pin to smooth out any creases, ensuring the pastry is about a quarter-inch thick.
  2. In a medium mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, crumbled feta, and finely chopped fresh herbs. Blend until smooth.
  3. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the puff pastry, leaving a small border around the edges. Sprinkle cranberries evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  4. Starting from one long edge, tightly roll the puff pastry into a log shape. Slice the log into ½-inch thick rounds.
  5. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, place the sliced pinwheels on the sheet, and brush tops with an egg wash.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and puffed. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
