Step-by-Step Instructions for Crack Burgers
- In a large mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of ground chuck with 1 packet of ranch dressing mix, 4 slices of cooked bacon (finely chopped), and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese. Gently mix until just combined.
- Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape each into a patty, creating a small indentation in the center of each patty.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium heat, reaching about 375°F. If using a skillet, add a drizzle of oil for a nonstick surface.
- Cook the patties on the grill or skillet for 4-5 minutes on the first side without moving them. Flip and continue to cook for another 4-5 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 160°F.
- With 1-2 minutes left, add an extra slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty. Cover to melt the cheese.
- Remove from heat and let the burgers rest for a few minutes. Serve on buns with desired toppings.
