  1. Mix 2 tablespoons of sugar with 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon in a shallow bowl. Moisten the glass rims with lime or orange juice, then dip them into the sugar mixture and let set for about 2 minutes.
  2. In a cocktail shaker, combine ¾ cup of apple cider, 3 ounces of tequila, 2 tablespoons of apple butter, 1 tablespoon of agave, and 1 ounce of Cointreau. Fill with 1-2 cups of ice.
  3. Secure the lid on the cocktail shaker tightly and shake vigorously for about 15 to 20 seconds until frosted on the outside.
