- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the ground beef, cooking it until it's fully browned (5-7 minutes). Drain excess fat and transfer to the slow cooker.
- In the same skillet, sauté chopped onions and minced garlic for 3-4 minutes until translucent and fragrant. Add this mixture to the slow cooker with the beef.
- Stir in the chopped bell peppers, tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, and beef broth in the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle in the seasonings including salt, pepper, and Italian herbs. Mix thoroughly.
- Cover the slow cooker and set it to low heat. Cook for 4-6 hours.
- About 30 minutes before serving, stir in the precooked pasta, adding more broth if necessary.
- Once heated through, serve and garnish with fresh herbs if desired.
