Step-by-Step Instructions for Cowboy Casserole
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef and diced onion over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until browned. Drain excess fat.
  3. In the same skillet, stir in the corn and both cans of cream soups with the beef and onion, adding seasonings to taste. Mix well.
  4. Spread the beef and soup mixture evenly into a greased baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese on top, then arrange the frozen tater tots over the cheese layer.
  6. Bake for approximately 35 minutes or until the tater tots are golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
