  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine softened salted butter and white sugar, and beat until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add the beaten egg and mashed overripe bananas to the butter and sugar mixture, stirring until smooth.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking soda, and salt before gradually folding it into the banana blend.
  5. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, cinnamon, and brown sugar to create the cinnamon swirl mixture.
  6. Pour half of the banana bread batter into the prepared loaf pan, spreading it evenly, and sprinkle half of the cinnamon mixture over this layer.
  7. Add the remaining batter on top and sprinkle the rest of the cinnamon mixture, then swirl the layers gently with a knife.
