  • 4 cloves Garlic Fresh garlic is preferred.
For the Green Beans
  • 1 pound Green Beans Swap with Chinese long beans if desired.
  • 2 tablespoons Peanut Oil Can use avocado or safflower oil.

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by rinsing the green beans under cool water to clean them thoroughly. Trim the ends of each bean.
  2. In a large skillet or wok, heat about two tablespoons of peanut oil over high heat until shimmering.
  3. Carefully add the green beans to the pan in a single layer. Stir-fry for 5-7 minutes until tender and blistered.
  4. While the beans are blistering, combine soy sauce, vegetable broth, cornstarch, sesame oil, and minced garlic in a mixing bowl.
  5. Once the green beans are blistered, pour the sauce over them and toss to coat. Stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Transfer the beans to a serving platter and serve with jasmine rice.
