Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, egg, plain bread crumbs, ranch seasoning mix, minced garlic, finely diced onion, and shredded cheddar cheese. Gently mix until well combined.
- Form the mixture into evenly sized burger patties, about 3/4 inch thick, and create a slight indentation in the center of each patty.
- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for 6-8 minutes on each side, or until they reach an internal temperature of 165°F.
- While the patties are cooking, prep your toppings: cook the bacon, slice tomatoes, and wash lettuce. Optionally toast the buns.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a patty on each bun and layering with bacon, lettuce, and tomatoes. Drizzle ranch dressing on top.
- Serve immediately with a side of sweet potato fries or coleslaw.

Notes
Avoid overmixing to keep patties juicy. Chill if too soft and ensure burgers are cooked to 165°F for safety.
