Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Blend grated carrots, sugar, vegetable oil, and eggs until smooth.
  3. Sift together flour, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder in a large bowl.
  4. Combine blended wet ingredients with dry ingredients without overmixing.
  5. Transfer batter into prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes. Check doneness with a toothpick.
  7. Cool the cake in the pan for about 15 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
