- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a greased 9x5-inch loaf pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. In another bowl, cream butter and sugar until fluffy, then beat in eggs and vanilla. Gradually add dry ingredients alternating with milk, folding in blueberries.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla until smooth for filling.
- Spoon half of the batter into the pan, spread cream cheese filling over it, then top with remaining batter.
- Bake for 55-65 minutes until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. If browning too quickly, tent with foil.
- Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
