  • 1 cup Almond Powder Almond meal can be used if preferred.
  • 10 halves Apricot Halves Peaches or plums can be substituted.
  • 1 large Egg Use milk as a vegan alternative for egg wash.

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Apricot and Almond Puff Pastries
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the commercial puff pastry on a floured surface and cut it into 4-inch squares.
  3. Place a spoonful of pastry cream in the center of each square.
  4. Sprinkle almond powder over the pastry cream.
  5. Top each square with one or two apricot halves.
  6. Fold each square in half to form triangles, sealing the edges.
  7. Brush the tops with an egg wash.
  8. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool for 5 minutes on a wire rack before serving.
